Spring Break Awaken the Senses Camp; Grades 2-5, 9am-12pm
What better way to spend Spring Break than awakening our senses to this magical season! Join me from 9 am to 12pm on a sensory journey as we use all of our senses to create, move, and make sound.
We will begin each morning with yoga poses, breath work and positive thought work. We will move to music and learn to play rhythms with our hands, and/or using instruments. We will also learn about the zones of regulation and create our own zone charts to use at home.
Snack will be brought from home, and we will enjoy it weather permitting in the sunshine!
After waking our bodies, ears, and voices, we will explore our sight and touch with a fun filled art project! Projects include Hydro-dipping, Egg Shell Mosaics, Golf Ball and Marble Rolling Paintings, Tie Dying, Essential Oil Dough Making, and even a Baking Activity!
