Teaching and Guiding Philosophy.
I believe that creative play in a safe learning environment is important to developing artistic confidence. As a guide and teacher, I strive to meet each learner where they are at that current moment. I provide structured steps to learning skills and creating successful outcomes as well as give students room to make independent choices and create unique works of art. I view “mistakes” as teachable moments, and remind students that making Art is a little like riding a bike. Sometimes you don’t master it on your first try, but if you keep trying with a little bit of courage, you will soon get the hang of it!
